Lesson
12
No...
this is not a repeat......
Psalm 15:
3He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his
neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; 4In
whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear
the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5He
who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe
against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
Life's pressures
can change us. Increased prosperity, gossip and rumors, new work
environment, new marriage, babies, teenagers, or any myriad of possibilities
can affect our attitude. Our internals should only change by choice.
Our principles should only change by contemplation and new insight.
ACT!
Examine this
principle: Don't take up a reproach against a friend.. Is it based
on the scripture? Does it hold true to life in all circumstances?
Does it build you up when you live by it? Does it need changed?
PRAY!
Father help
me never take up an accusation against a friend or an assault on
them. Keep me faithful. Show me when a friend is really a friend.
Help me discern those interested and investing in me and those that
are "vaporous friends" with no substance
